New Year’s resolutions tend to be centered around physical changes people want to make to their bodies. The most popular resolutions in recent years have been things like exercising more, losing weight, and eating healthier foods. 

Not this year, though! The top resolution for 2023 shows a major shift in our collective thinking and priorities. According to a survey conducted by Forbes, the most popular resolution this year will be to improve mental health!

There is no doubt about it–the pandemic wreaked havoc on our mental well being. But as a result, talking about mental health has become far more normalized AND access to mental health care has become far more widely available. These are huge silver linings that shine a light of hope on an otherwise dark situation.
